Challenges

The participating firm that earns the most points during the Challenge wins.

1 Point: One dine-in lunch at a downtown restaurant. Examples: A Tonkon Torp attorney takes a client to lunch. A Geffen Mesher employee has lunch with a colleague. An individual employee has lunch downtown on their own. 2 Points: A dine-in lunch that includes representatives from two or more participating companies. Examples: A Tonkon Torp attorney and a Geffen Mesher accountant have lunch together. Employees from multiple participating firms meet for lunch downtown.

To qualify, lunches must be: - Dine-in (takeout and delivery do not qualify) - At a restaurant located west of the Willamette River - Within reasonable walking distance of participating firms' downtown offices - During the Challenge period Participants are encouraged to explore and support a variety of downtown businesses.

Between June 8 and September 4, visit as many downtown coffee shops as possible. The participating firm that earns the most points during the Challenge wins.

1 Point: Each person earns 1 point when they purchase an item at a downtown coffee shop. Examples: A PwC employee purchases a coffee before work and earns 1 point. Multiple Dunn Carney employees visit a coffee shop together and each purchase an item. Each employee earns 1 point. 2 Points (Double Points): Each person earns 2 points when they purchase an item at a downtown coffee shop with someone from another participating firm. Examples: A PwC employee and a Dunn Carney employee each purchase coffee together. Each person earns 2 points. A Tonkon Torp employee and multiple PwC employees meet for coffee. Each person earns 2 points.

Downtown coffee shops. Participants report points using the Downtown Cup Challenge tracking sheet. Leaderboards and standings will be shared periodically throughout the Challenge.
